Request failed with status code 500

Hi Marius,

Thank you for the details.

A 500 Internal Server Error is a generic server-side error, so we'll need to identify the exact request that's failing.

Could you please open your browser's Developer Tools (press F12) and go to the Network tab? Then try to save the page again and inspect the failed request.

Please share the following information from the failed request:

• The Request URL
• The Response tab content
• The Preview tab (if available)
• Any error messages shown in the Headers or Console tab
• A screenshot of the failed network request, if possible

This information will help us determine whether the issue is coming from the server, Joomla, SP Page Builder, or another extension.

We look forward to your update.

Best regards,

Could you please share temporary administrator access to your Joomla backend? You can provide the credentials securely in the hidden content section. Also, please take a full backup of your site before we make any changes.

Once I have access, I’ll investigate further and see what’s causing the issue. Let me know once you’ve shared the details!

Best regards,

Hello,

Thanks for providing the screenshot. We can see that the SP Page Builder AJAX request is returning an HTTP 500 error:

administrator/index.php?option=com_sppagebuilder&task=/editor.pages&id=1

The Axios error shown in the browser is a consequence of the server returning HTTP 500. We therefore need to check the underlying Joomla/PHP error rather than the JavaScript itself.

Could you please provide the Joomla error log and PHP/LiteSpeed error log from the exact time when the error occurs?

Alternatively, if this is a staging site, please temporarily enable Joomla Debug System and Error Reporting: Maximum, reproduce the issue once, and send us the resulting error message.

This will allow us to identify the exact PHP/database exception causing the SP Page Builder request to fail.

Thanks.
