5.6.1 Crashed my J3 site. Having to restore from back up. Cannot install the security patch if the version we are to be on for the patch to be installed crashed the site. Any guidance?

You guys sent out an email to your users saying that there was a new patch for J3 users and to update to version 5.6.1 first - as you can see on this thread that has been thoroughly tested and doesnt work. Any chance you could fix this asap please?

Jeez - i have 6 J3 sites to do this to and the first one after installing 5.6.1 totally crashed and have to restore from backup - i think risking the hackers is safer than these updates !!

by now install Firewall that can secure you from that tread.

There are components that still works on old Joomla 3.10

Hello everyone,

Apology for the inconvenience.

Please use PHP 8.0 and Joomla! 3.10.12 on your site. Then install SP Page Builder 5.6.1 first and then the security patches 1.0.1. Hopefully, it will work. On my testing, it worked perfectly.
