Bottom

The bottom section of the template design (from Quickstart) was built using two rows (top bottom and bottom) and 6 module positions together.

Footer

In the footer, we used two modules published on footer1 and footer2 module position.

Footer area with copyright note ( "Designed by ....") was based on template settings feature. You can find the settings from Joomla Dashboard > Extensions > Templates > shaper_languageschool - Default > Template Options > Basics > Footer. 

And footer menu is based on the Menu module published on "footer2" module position. 

The Footer is a core template feature and it inherits all the functionalities from Helix Ultimate framework. You can make the customizations in your own way by understanding the framework better. You can head over to Helix Ultimate Documentation for further reference.
