Hello On my wepage (https://sandbox.mespas.com/) the download of "fa-solid-900.woff", "fa-brands-400.woff", "fa-regular-400.woff" is very slow (especially if you set connection speed to fast/good 3 G)

How to improve it?

Hi there, Thanks for contacting us. I just check our demo and no problem found like your video.

I think it happens for the hosting issues.

-Thanks

Hi, If I may....

I used google.com/speed/pagespeed to test your site. And without any speed up extra settings you have:

  1. Mobile Score: 60
  2. Desktop Score: 88

Hello Thank you for responding. However, you do have the same issue on your demo site, have a look at the picture https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ewkyiyTCKcsdEg3IWXlQYVU_W-IFDGa4/view?usp=sharing

Hello

you have http caching on and your fonts are retrived from cache, that is why it is fast (beside using full internet speed as well)

In my video, as I pointed, I disabled caching (important if someone visit your page for the first time) and reduced internet speed to 3G mobile data

Extreme TIP: If you want to speed up your website even more you have to cut off font-awesome from template code and problem would gone. It's not our fault that those files are so big - complains to FA developer.

I added preloading for them, like:

<link rel="preload" as="font" href="/<path>fa-brands-400.woff" type="font/woff" crossorigin="anonymous">
