HI

How does the Search box work with the Helix Ultimate template predefined header option? I have enabled it but it does not seem to be picking up documents or events like the smart search did when I used that.

Can you help me please. Thanks Alison

Thanks for contacting us. Sorry for the inconvenience. Will you please provide me the Joomla administrator access to check the issue? I will check & get back to you soon.

An example of the error

search for 'Standards' it does not bring up the following page https://www.walc.org.uk/about/standards which surely it should?

Also, search for "digital mapping" it should bring up the event https://www.walc.org.uk/events-list/1010-digital-mapping-for-parish-councils

Hi Alison,

If I may... the problem is not with the template, because Search and Smart Search are Joomla core features. Template only display what Joomla "enigne" will find.

So in Joomla: Smart Search you have to reindex Search database from time to time.

If somehow you don't believe me, you can always switch to the Cassiopeia template and check the search view from there.

OK, thanks for that information, very useful. I am running the index and getting the error

An Error Has Occurred Category must have a title.

Do you know how to fix that? All of our categories have titles, otherwise they would not work!!

Many things that worked in Joomla 3.10, may not work as well in Joomla 4.0.x yet. Long way ahead of us. This is called the problem of childhood, if you know what I mean. New version doesn't mean buggy free.
