Helix Menu Override Css - How?

I am trying to change the menu font css in Helix Menu. I just want to change the header menu font not the drop-down menu, which happens if i change font size in "typography" tab. I have a custom CSS but it does not work, i suppose because of Helix Menu is configured. I tried with the "custom code" tab but it throws a big error.
How can i override the Helix Menu css?

You can use custom.css file instead. It's fully working method. Just create a new file, and put there all styles.
