SPPBPro V3.8.3

Hello I appear to have a problem :( I attempted to save as a copy of an existing SPPBP Page to a new SPPBP as a duplicate ready for new content in a similar layout. However, when I went to click Frontend editor, all I get is spinny pizza wheel. I have checked that the correct SPPBP License Key is in place but now I cannot edit some of my pages :( Ones without Joomshaper Layouts are fine - and can be edited but those with Joomshaper layouts (which is the process i am upgrading others) just sit there for ages (and i mean, ages).

Running J4.0.5 and until this occurred today, all was running really well :(

What have i done wrong? What do i have to do. I could edit the db directly but I do not know your ERD & Logic so that might cause even more issues.

Hi EB,

are you able to install older SPPB Pro 3.8.2, clean cache and test again?

Hi Paul. Attempted v3.8.2 (my initial version) which had same problem. Your suggestion of v3.8.1 however did work. I will recreate my lost pages and continue. Thank you.

Do you know if I can reinstate v3.8.2? Thanks again for your help.

You can try, but make backup before.

And next week our developer should find a reason of broken front-end editor.

Instagram Error: Unsupported get request. Please read the Graph API documentation at https://developers.facebook.com/docs/graph-api

on both the SPPBP FrontendEditor and live web view. Have images if you want to see

Problem solved- i did not see the "instagram gallery" at the bottom of the template... Not being a "insta" person did not realise what it was or meant. Sorry for any inconvenience... eb

Hi Paul I am sorry to report I had the spinny pizza wheel problem again - on a virtually clean new installation (with J4.0.6 and 3.8.3). Attempted retro 3.8.1 (which worked previously) but no joy :( it makes me very nervous that a lot of work can go up in smoke very quickly if SPPBPro locks some files out (seems to be a lock issue - the page affected has the checked out lock visible). For now, i am trying to track issues by regular db backups but this is a very painful consumer of my time. If there is any news on a fix it would be good to know. Has anyone else reported this issue?
