Hello SP Page Builder Team !

I am running a Joomla 3.10.5 + J2Store 3.3.18 PRO, and since our subscription for previous version of SP Page builder run out, we decided to purchase the newest PRO version. This is what we do few days ago.

However, unfortunately when I install a new version of the SP Page Builder 3.8.3 PRO over the current 3.7.4 - our website crashes.

Almost all graphic files on website stretches horizontally, and the page order is crashed. Carousels do not work and there's a lot of other page content problems.

Is the there any "safe mode" of inslalling the SP Page builder extension to the newest version, so I could avoid these problems ?

I am not a an IT engineer, and unfortunately I can't fix it myself, so I'd appreciate your help here.

I need to update the SP Page Builder as it's the last Joomla component I need to reach my website's compatibility with higher (than current 7.3) version of PHP - at least 7.4+

Thank you in advance, Norbert

Hi

Sorry for this inconvenience with our products. Did not you keep any backup before installing it? Sorry, we don't have any safe mode, we strongly recommended that when you do changes make sure you have a backup. For backup, you can follow this blog below

https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/backup-and-restore-your-joomla-site-with-akeeba-backup

You can do one thing you can create forum post about your issue, I hope the tech team will solve your site issues.

Hello ! Thank you for you answer,

of course we do have a backup, and we immediately restored the data when found that the page order is crashed.

Alright, thank you for your assist - I will post the new topic with pictures showing the site crash after updating the PS Page Builder version to 3.8.3 pro.
