Hyperlink Would Not Save Correctly In Text Block

Hi I am using Joomla 4.0.6 and the latest SP Pagebuilder Pro V 3.8.3. I recently rebuilt a Joomla V3 site on Joomla 4. I have a contact section on the frontpage with a Section ID called "contact". Usually I would point to /#contact to get to the contact page. It works from the menu, but not from the text on another page. I would have text: "Please contact us for..." and hyperlink the word "contact" to the contact page. But when I save the link, the forward slash is removed from the code. If I enter the link as https://websitename.com, the same happens - the https://... is not saved at all.

Please advise?

Hi Toufiq and Paul

I installed JCE and set it to be the default editor. This editor correctly saved the link and it now works. I do not like installing JCE because now I have an extra component to keep up to date.

Hi,

what Text Editor you are using? If JCE you can configure to use full links.

I think there has an issue. But, I have added a link without having issue.

Thank you for your attempt to help me, but I the way you test it does not proof the case. The link I created is /#contact which would not save. The editor or whatever removes the slash.

But JCE is trusted editor and may help you a lot with basic editor tasks.

Compare to WordPress you need only few extensions to manage website, not 100 plugins hahah.
