That is totally incorrect information. I have had this website for more than two years. The Author component caused the author name to be a link to the authors profile and his articles. When you clicked on the authors name it took you to his profile.

I have done this hundreds of times during the two years.

Can I please get an answer on this - kindly look at your own demo https://demo.joomshaper.com/?template=gazette the author's name does link to their author profile. Select any article and you will see.

Apology for the delay. I have lost my grandfather last week and had a bike accident later on this week. I am still recovering.

Anyway, firstly, I have checked with the Quickstart and replied to you. Now I checked the demo. Actually, this feature was in the previous versions. On the latest version, it was removed. I have checked both Joomla 3 and 4 quickstarts. I have also talked with the developer team about this. They assured me that it will be added in the next version. Thanks for your patience and time.

Thank you, please this is urgent. It may not seem like it but I have authors that write for me and they get upset - nobody can find their details from the article. If it is not fixed soon I will need to start putting postscripts for the writers.
