Just download Helix Ultimate template and install, it will update all. Then check if Helix plugin is enabled.

Notice! Not all templates can work with J4 so before installing it check details.

Thanks The template I have is an at_airus_joomla_template_install_package made for joomla 3 really need to have it on J4.

I see it uses the joomshaper compnents / helix etc - I set up a joomshaper helix J4 install and everything works drop my template in from v 3 and use discover to install it whih happens with no errors. then I make it the default template and i get the error message to istall and activate helix

You need to be talking to the developer who developed your template.

The tempate will ONLY work if you install it and use it on J3 NOT J4.

Yes, AT Airus template - doesn't belong to us. So I cannot help, template developer should, even if they used our helix engine. It's this same like with cars (!).
