Hi,

I have installed the Arino template. On accessing the home page i have this error message.

"3685 Illegal argument to a regular expression".

I have updated SPPB pro and I have upgraded J2Store to professional.

I am aware of this string https://archive.joomshaper.com/forums/3685-illegal-argument-to-a-regular-expression.

Please can I have assistance to resolve this.

This seems to be a J2store problem.

I uploaded this product display module from j2store here: https://www.j2store.org/extensions/modules/product-display-module.html

This error message resolved.

thanks for all concerned for assistance.

Hello hillary_hedgehog

It looks like a MySQL 8 error. Please downgrade your MySQL version and check the issue.

Best regards

In the error log is the following:

[14-Feb-2022 15:16:28 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$button_two_before_icon in /home/knotableco/public_html/templates/shaper_shopin/sppagebuilder/addons/products_slider/site.php on line 105

Changed PHP version to 8 and the error messsage changed to: " Error 0 Unable to process PNG image."

Hi Ofi Khan,

I am very suprised you suggest downgrading Mysql. This is what cPanel says on the topic. https://support.cpanel.net/hc/en-us/articles/360051019214-Can-you-downgrade-MySQL-on-a-cPanel-system-

"There is currently not a supported way to downgrade MySQL on a cPanel server.

While it may be possible to manually perform a downgrade, it would involve removing data and packages from the machine, which is not something cPanel support is able to assist with at this time. If you find it is absolutely necessary to downgrade MySQL on the system we recommend working with an experienced system administrator to help perform this task."

Sorry, I do not have good idea on downgrading. I just meant to say that use MySQL 5.7. I found it okay with this version. Other users reported the same issue with MySQL 8. Later upon my suggestion, changing MySQL version worked fine.

Thanks Ofi, any idea when the tempalte will be upgraded to work on MySQL8. My hosting platform only offers MySQL 8.xxx

This kind of makes all your ecommerce templates from J2store redundant! That is Arino, Shopin and Indigo fail.
