Helix Ultimate - Compression Settings - Status Update Please

I am wondering when JoomShaper will complete optimizing the CSS and Javvascript Compression settings of Helix Ultimate.

If you go to the following path "Template Options > Advanced > Compression" it contains the following message in the tooltips:

Compress CSS Files: "... We suggest you to disable this option. We are working on this settings for further optimization."

Compress Javascript Files: "...We suggest you to disable this option. We are working on this settings for further optimization."

Can we get an update on this as it is very important for all templates.

Hi Joe, sorry, no news by now ( I also wait). In general only JS compression makes problem as I remember. Anyway, you can use different compression plugin from JED.

I try to avoid 3rd Party developer's plugin / extensions unless absolutely necessary. I susspect no matter which compression plugin is used it will have issues just like Helix. Just rather deal with JoomShaper as it is a template feature that should work anyways.

I understand, but some compression plugins have more useful features, not only CSS/JS compression. It may help speed up website.

Besides good rules inside .htaccess helps a lot.
