After Upgrade To Joomla 4.0.6 Mobile Footer has 2 Columns

I have made an upgrade for Joomla from 3.10.5 to v 4.0.6. It thought better than I suspected.

The productive site Joomla 3.10.5 is still https://water-for-africa-org

The upgrade from 4.0.6 is in the staging area, which means it's a test environment. Login see hidden content.

After that the website appears with a few quirks. We spent several hours trying to solve the problem, also deleted the Custom CSS code completely in between. Nothing helped.

The following errors occur:

  1. The footer displays 2 columns. There must be only one column.
  2. In the footer, the lists no longer appear as a bulleted list (About us, Our work, Donate)

Thanks. Juergen

Fixed. I added extra line to custom.css file at the end. Refresh browser to see changes.

  @media only screen and (max-width: 640px) {
  #sp-bottom .col-6, #sp-bottom1, #sp-bottom2,
    #sp-bottom3, .sppb-addon-articles .sppb-col-sm-4
    {width: 100%; float: none;}

}

Hi Juergen,

I will check, as I read so far probably it's very easy to solve.

In Footer you have only one column, here is screenshot

In Template Options - Layout you have two (footer1 and footer2), but I see that you use only one of them.

On your orginal website (domain) also there is a single footer column used.

So I am not sure what is wrong????

I also don't see differences between OLD a NEW site if we talk about Footer or Bottom.

Of course in Template Options - Layout - you can change column grid - to one column only, but I don't see a reason for it. Just do not use "footer2" ... or I don't get something.

Hi Paul,

sorry, I have meant BOTTOM. In the template is bottom1, bottom2, bottom3 and bottom4.

In the mobile version of the original website https://water-for-africa.org there is correctly only one column at the bottom. See screenshot. https://prnt.sc/Y5kk_g-I6D14

After the upgrade there are 2 columns. For whatever reason. See screenshot. https://prnt.sc/-Hx8K9SoFHrZ

All screenshots are from iPhone 12mini.

Thanks.
