You can also test using Joomla Custom Module where you have to paste code in HTML mode. It will tell you more about possible reason of problems.

Sometimes problems in some browsers are caused by Lazy Loading option from SPPB Option, disable it by now.

no, the example you reply with is not the video I mean, this is a video in a different extension (Tassos ACF video field). Tassos ACF works , even with lazy loading

I don't find you last reply helpfull. I am sure it wasn't your intentension as you've been helping me very good in the past. Therefore I will do my best again to help us both resolve this issue.

What I have found out so far is that SPPB Video addon is not able to play a video that has its privacy level marked as "unlisted" in Vimeo. It means it doesn't how up in Vimeo by it self, but can be shared by sharing a full link, hence the "double" character code string in the URL.

My example is a "unlisted" Vimeo video, with a double code: https://vimeo.com/689711021/aa984bc9fc Your example is a "public" Vimeo video, with a single code: https://vimeo.com/133642780)

My " other video product" is a Joomla Custom Field product for videos and I use it for completely different purposes. As it is able to play both "public" and "unlisted" Vimeo videos I understand their shouldn't be a problem for Joomshaper to fix this issue.

I bought SP Page Builder for a reason, and I think Joomshaper must make a clear effort to deliver what has been sold. I will gladly set up a test-page for you or your engineers with examples of both products for Joomshaper to find out the issue.

Kindly let me know if Joomhaper has no intension to fix this issue within reasonable time (2 month's?). If so I won't bother support anymore with this.

If you or another JoomShaper employee wants me to set up a clear test case, let me know as well.

Yes, showing the Vimeo video with privacy level "unlisted" in a SPPB Raw HTML addon with embed code from Vimeo works (See www.sta-toneel.nl/help2 ). But, to get it to work I need to set an extra privacy property in Vimeo to be able to get "embed code" from Vimeo: it need to specify from which domain the video may be played (nowhere, anywhere or specific domain).

Therefore I want the standard SPPB Video addon to work as well. Because it will be confusing for my end-users (content publisher) to have this domain-setting set on every video. The privacy level "unlisted" can be enfored by default on Vimeo. The domain-setting can not be enforced, and I don't want to enforce it either.

I assume "my other video addon" uses a trick or codestring that contains "my.domain.com" to have the video to play without this domain-setting on Vimeo.

PLEASE PASS THIS INFORMATION TO THE JOOMSHAPER ENGINEERS: Today I figured out that the type of Vimeo account plays a role in how the SPPB video addon works (or not).

The troubling account is a Vimeo PRO account. The Vimeo PRO account has 5 privacy levels (pl's):

1. Unlisted
2. Password
3. Hide from Vimeo
4. Private
5. Public

Only privacy level 1, 3 & 5 are in my opinion relevant for the SPPB video addon:

1. Unlisted: the share-link has a "double code" in the URL , e.g. https://vimeo.com/689711021/aa984bc9fc
2. Hidden: the share-link has a "single code" in the URL, e.g. https://vimeo.com/689711021
3. Public: the share-link has a "single code" in the URL , e.g. https://vimeo.com/689711021

The pl hidden does work in the SPPB video addon works.

The pl Unlisted currently does not work in the SPPB video addon.

I have found out in discussions with other users (with a lot of confusion) that they all have a cheaper Vimeo account, that does not provide the pl Unlisted.

So the SPPB video addon should be changed to handle all the 3 pl's right:

• Unlisted (Vimeo PRO accounts)
• Hide from Vimeo (Standard paid Vimeo account)
• Public

Off-topic, extra info: On top of that you can set domain restrictions. In a PRO account Vimeo only provides "embedded code" if a doman restriction is set.

There's a simple fix for at least some of these problems. Have the video embedding accept Vimeo's "player" links directly. I added the following block of code to com_sppagebuilder/addons/video/site.php at line 141 at the end of the "switch ($video['host'])" block:
