No news, we both have to wait for Helix update. You can control only by height setting by now.

Hi Laurent.

  1. In Template Options > Blog > Images -- remove creating thumbnail (uncheck it) - Save settings.
  2. Upload all blog images again.
  3. Clear Joomla cache.
  4. That's all

Yes, I saw that "thumbnails" are still generated even they shouldn't be.

Hmmm...

Maybe enable again, but increase height value + add 50px more
