first, i did read the articles addressing these issues and none applied. I have my own site installed on this same domain in the root directory and everything works beautifully. i am drafting a site and put it in a subdirectory to work on it and i have lots of problems on the new site.

as soon as i drop in certain hero blocks i am not able to save (ex. the poker hero with the desert, the one about advertising with the people hiking etc. ) but some hero blocks do allow me to save. (weird huh) Ones that do work are the one with the ship and the one with the mountains.

I have waynecorp installed right now. it's my second choice template because Melvin just wouldn't work out of the box and i had errors as soon as i updated joomla and the front end of the site just broke altogether. Honestly i would rather the Melvin template. Anyhow i can likely work around the issue but i don't know what is causing it and i don't want to run in to it again after i have made a bunch of changes.
