Categories And Sub Categories

Using the SP Easy Image Gallery I am creating different categories for my content. I have top level categories and sub catogeries and even though they are being displayed I was hoping to do a couple of things. First here is the link to the photogalleries:

https://vernonwebb.com/my-media/photogallery

I want to get ride of the /my-media/ and have it dispalyed as just photogallery, but I was hoping that when I create a sub category that it would be displayed on the URL. For instance I have:

  • photos by Vern (holding all galleries that under here)
    • Allman Brothers (holding all galleries under this category but displayed only as Allman Brothers and when clicked it shows all the sub galleries)
    • Blues Traveler (holding all galleries under this category but displayed only as Allman Brothers and when clicked it shows all the sub galleries)
    • etc

I was hoping to have the URL displayed as vernonwebb.com/photosbyvern/ for anythig only under the top level and then vernonwebb.com/photosbyvern/allman-brothers and so forth.

Also as I mentioned above I was hoping to have sub categories displayed under the catagory. Example: Allman Brothers Some Venu, Some Date 1 Some Venu, Some Date 2

Hope this makes sense

Hi there!

Thanks for your query.

There is only the default way to remove ID's from the URL. Here is the blog post:

For any other sorts of URL customization you may need special extension That build for this facility. You will find some within JED I think.

Best Regards
