In the article https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/helix-ultimate-2-0-2 it is stated that the file options.xml can be used to customize my preferences.

As this file is part of the installation of helix-ultimate, I assume it will be overwritten everytime an update is installed.

So my question is: How to prevent the options.xml being overwritten at update? Is there something like an override possibility for the options.xml file? (As far as i know, an override can only be used for modules, components, plugins and layouts)
