Validation Script In "Text" Block Causes Issues With JCE Code Mode

The validation JS that's listening to "change" events is causing issues with the latest JCE versions. If you switch JCE to "source code" mode, the validation script is reacting to each and every keystroke, even escaping < and > characters and moving those into a new paragraph - that renders the code mode completly unusable, see:

the issue is not JCE doing something wroing, it's your validation JS blindly assuming that every single keystroke needs to be wrapped in p-Tags, escaping legitimate special characters used in HTML.
If I use JCE in a standalone mode, it's perfectly working fine. The issue only occurs if it's used in SP pagebuilder.
