1. What JCE version do you have installed? If below v2.9.27 please update.
2. What kind of problem do you have inside Text addons? If possible record video or share link to screenshot. Very helpful for us.
3. Is that problem on front-end editor only OR also in back-end editor?

In my private site I used JCE Pro 2.9.27 + SPPB 3.8.7 + J3.10 and all worked just fine. But maybe I didn't notice something.

Although, we noticed one problem with JCE editor in text area - so I wonder if this is that same issue.

I'm using the latest version of JCE pro. I tried to record a video with Loom but it doesn't record the modal window. It's on the backend editor (I don't use the front-end editor).

I switched to TinyMCE for testing purpose, it works fine. I tried with JCE and a site not using Joomla 4 latest version and it works fine too.

Can I grant you a SU access to a site, you'll see easily what's going on.

1. The problem occurs with both.
2. Changes are saved correctly. It's just that it's impossible to write anything using the code tab. No issue with the editor tab (but I use only the code tab).
3. Also I don't have the issue with com_content, only with SP Page Builder.

It's impossible to use JCE's code view in a text addon in an SPPB Module. The cursor keeps returning to the top line of code, even if attempting to type in another field such as the admin title.

JCE Pro version is current, 2.9.28

@Karen, Do you have this same issue inside Pages or only inside SPPB module?

What about TinyMCE and HTML mode and SPPB module - is OK?

For information, for me the issue disappeared on all my sites after updating JCE to 2.9.28

It wasn't working with 2.9.26. Yes, in the changelog of the latest version of JCE it's mentioned they fixed the issue with SP Page Builder

But I guess, not all was fixed.

I informed our developer and by now it's all I can do personally. And I hope that at least with TinyMCE Html mode works OK.

I have confirmation it will be fixed in next SPPB 3.x update I hope soon. By now TinyMCE if you really need to use HTML mode.

OK, thanks Paul. It was only for SPPB module. The text addon and switching to source code was working in an SPPB page.
