Edditing Helix Framework 2 Causes '504' Error

Helix Framework 3 years ago

Hello, I am working on Joomla 3.10.9 and am preparing to switch to Joomla4. For this I need a good framework and Helix Ultimate was recommended to me. Version 2.0.10 is installed. When I open the editor and make a change, it only works partially. After a few changes, I get a '504' error message and access to both the front end and back end of the website is blocked.

My hosting company should, in their opinion, restart a PHP pool and then the site will work again. Until I do another edit in Helix Ultimate. Obviously, this is not desirable and I am looking for a structural solution. Please note that I am not a PHP programmer and I cannot deal with any programming rules that may be suggested, without documenting them step by step. Sorry for this.

I hope for a practical solution. Regards, Peter and Arie

@Peter

This error can occur for various reasons.
To find out where the problem is, you need to check the php-error-log.
possible path to the logfile "var log plesk-phpXX-fpm error.log" *

It is possible that Helix requires a php extension that is not enabled.
But also too little memory or another limitation could be the cause.
Therefore, checking the error log of PHP itself is necessary.

  • Replace the spaces with a dash, I can not post this path, because of the restriction by joomshaper and cloudflare.

Hi Mehtaz,

Thanks for the response. My addition that I had finally succeeded in adding images was about the fact that this forum had an unfamiliar way of adding images. I finally managed to add the illustrations of my problem. The problem is still there. "I get a '504' error message and access to both the front end and back end of the website is blocked." In short: "help!"
