Helix Framework 3 years ago

HI

Currently, non of Editor-xtd plugins on my sites with Helix are working at the frontend, because there is Javascript error with your template. (Another developer told me this).

I am using the latest version of Helix framework and Joomla.

Please can you take a look and come back to me with a solution.

many thanks

Alison, I used a temporray CSS fix code and you should be able to use new JCE Pro 2.9.29 (tested) and still choose modules from front-end edior. And yes I informed our Helix developers already.

.view-form.layout-edit .modal-backdrop.fade.show
{display: none;opacity: 0; z-index: -1;}

Firstly sorry, the thread title is incorrect it should be "Editor-xtd plugins conflict" can you change that please?

To replicate the error go to https://avonlca.org.uk/information/become-a-councillor , go into 'edit' the article, then try to add a module to the article from the frontend.

Thanks

This does not solve my issue. I have been using JCE editor with Editors-xtd plugins for years and until recently it was working, it was only after a Helix upgrade that it stopped working. I do not accept that I cannot use Editors-xtd. Please pass this onto someone who can help me rather than just telling me I cannot use it.

I await a solution

Thank you.

Hi Alison,

Temporary I installed you JCE Editor Pro 2.9.20 (older version, if you don't mind) where you can close the popup window from choosing a module etc. I tried JCE Editor Pro 2.9.24 but bug was there as well, I don't have JCE Editor Pro 2.9.22 to test it out.

Anyway, I fully agree it shouldn't be like that. I only wonder why on JCE 2.9.20 works OK, and on v2.9.29 and few olders not. Any clues from Ryan, JCE developer?
