Hi, I wanted to test the new Sp Page Builder Pro 4, so after the backup of a site (Joomla! 4.2, Helix Ultimate, Sp Page Builder Pro 3.8.7) I install it. After the installation if I try to edit page or create a new one a white page with the error - 0 syntax error, unexpected ')' - is displayed. What are the system requirements for the installation of the SP Page Builder Pro version 4 ?

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

As I know, we don't support Joomla 4.2 yet.

What are the system requirements...

As always - described in SPPB documenation :)

Use Joomla 4.1.5 like all users, with PHP 8.0.x and then install SPPB 4.0.3 and play.

Hi Paul, on the SP Page Documentation web page (https://www.joomshaper.com/documentation/sp-page-builder) for Sp Page Builder 3 there's the voice: "01. Basic information & requirements", for the version 4 no such voice is present. So I can suppose that for the v.4 are still valid the same requirements of the v.3?

Thank you very much for the suggestion to use Joomla! 4.1.5 like any other ;-)

Thank you Paul, so my system acTcomplish the request for Sp Page Pro 4, but the error is still here. Now I'll try with a fresh installation of it on a test site, not with a update from version 3.x and we'll see.

Yes, please use fresh Joomla 4.1.5 or Joomla 3.10.10 with PHP 8.0.x

Use Joomla default template as first step.

BTW

It's hard to guess why you have that error message.
