SP Builder 4.0.3, Frontend JCE Container Width 300px

I'm having a problem with the width of the container for JCE when editing in front end. Here's a screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/189Z80AnV4JtBvf4o1TXiL3tqgz6Qt3Kc/view?usp=sharing I've traced the problem to: components/com_sppagebuilder/assets/css/editor.css

.builder-inline-editor-item.builder-inline-editor-has-child :is(.builder-inline-editor-dropdown,.builder-inline-editor-button-content,.builder-inline-editor-button-options) { position: absolute; width: 300px; }

Does anybody know why this is set to 300px? Can I just override this in my custom css? Is anybody else seeing this?

Thanks...Vince

Hi Vince,

Why? I don't know. But I know it will be improved in one of upcoming updates. It's on our list-to-do.

Yes, you can override by using custom.css file, use "!important"

Extra advice, remove all icons from JCE toolbar that you don't use, I guess 50% of them. You can save a lot of space. I do it ever single time. From my private www

Thanks Paul. Glad to hear it's on the to do list. I'll work around for now and yes I should remove about 80% of those icons. Thanks again.

Also useful tip before offcial update:

@media (min-width: 780px) {
.builder-inline-editor-item.builder-inline-editor-has-child :is(.builder-inline-editor-dropdown,.builder-inline-editor-button-content,.builder-inline-editor-button-options)
{ min-width: 720px; width: 720px !important;}
}
