Image Upload Problem

I am running a test site for SP Pagebuilder 4 on xampp. Everything seems to be working OK but when I try to upload an image to media it will not upload and returns an Internal Service Error. However when I checked the images folder the images are there, but they remain inaccessible within PB4. I've also tried drag and drop upload, but same problem. Unfortunately there is no idication as to what the error refers to and it doesn't seem to generate an error log. Any thoughts as to why this is happening?

I have done a little more investigation - I first of all tried uploading an image file into the Joomla 4 Media Manager, which worked successfully, so it would suggest that the problem does not lie within xampp. I then tried uploading a video file and an audio file into SPPB Media Manager and both worked perfectly OK and performed correctly, so it seems that the problem only occurs when trying to upload images - both jpg and png. Also when I choose the replace image option in the Image addon, when Media Manger opens up there is nothing there, it is completely empty. If I the try to open the folder option it closes the Media Manager and returns me to the SPPB page, but then nothing is selectable. Finally I tried the same exercise in a different site within xampp, and the results were exactly the same. All this would suggest that there is either a problem with the Media Manager in SPPB or there is a conflict in the way it operates in the xampp envirnment. I am using Joomla 4.15 and SPPB 4.03

Hello Mike Coomber

I have not faced this issue on my localhost. I am using MAMP. Please share a screencast of the issue.

I have uploaded 2 screenshots that illustrate the issue. The first is a screenshot of the Server error that I receive when I try to upload an image in SPPB Media Manager. It also shows that there is no media available for selection. The second screenshot shows the images folder structure for the same site, these are the images that should be there in Media Manager. Also if I click on the folders option in SPPB Media Manager it immediately closes the Media window and returns me to the SPPB editor page, but then nothing is selectable or editable. I have the same issue whether using XAMPP or WAMP.
