SPPB: Text Box Length Limit?

Hi,

I try to add a plain text with the length of 58500 characters (7709 words) to a text box in SPPB.

When I click on "save page", I get a success message, but the content will not saved. When I open the page again and go into the text box editor, it will be either plain or some old (short) version of the text will be there.

Is there a character limit for text boxes?

Please advise.

Hi Ben,

During the weekend I cannot ask our developers,

  1. Maybe divide that text into 3 or 4 Text addons. Then reduce bottom paddings between them. It should help to keep whole article in one page without any code hacks.
  2. What SPPB Pro version you are using, 3.8x or 4.0.x ??
