I tried to update following the above description but failed

I copied my real website directory and database

I created a sub-domain and installed it here

Everything works, so as "Joomla! 3.10.11"

I am using Helix3

I don't understand what this is:

"if you had installed the 2x series - update to 2.5.4 first then test pages, then download the last stable version of SP Page Builder Pro v3.8x."

I downloaded the "com_sppagebuilder_pro_v4.0.3.zip" file and installed it like a normal plugin

SPPB not visible in admin panel

When I click SPPB from the Components menu, it looks like the image below

When I click the "Get Started" button, my pages appear dimmed, but when I click it, it says the page was not found, some of the url is "com.tr/edit/1.html" like this

The site shows only the home page on the front page but says other pages not found.

Where am I doing wrong?

Joomla! I installed the com_sppagebuilder_pro_v4.0.3.zip plugin in version 3.10.11 All my pages are working fine.

Page Builder upgraded to the new version in the administration panel.

I can edit pages

If I update to Joomla 4 my pages will not work.

After a lot of trial and error I found that "SP Page Builder" without "pkg_jce_2929" does not work.

Yes, we use "SP Page Builder", but we created our pages on time, we paid for them to keep them up to date and updated new versions.

Therefore, when we switched to joomla 4, we could not understand that "pkg_jce_2929" gave an error because it was not an editor.

I managed to update my real website to joomla 4 by backing up my website and making many attempts on the sub-domain.

However, in reality, "SP Page Builder" says we have an old version, so we don't know what to do.

We will continue update & support Page Builder 3 end of the 2023. In the meantime if you need any support you will get it from us. Besides, If you want to use Page Builder 4 then you can use it. But, Note that if you install Page Builder 4 inside the 3 then you can't rollback Page Builder 3.

It is not possible for me to shoot a video for JCE because the update is finished. Install SP Page Builder 3 on a joomla site without JCE installed and upgrade to joomla 4, then upgrade to SP Page Builder 4, then edit the page with SP Page Builder and you will see that the page will fail.

Anyway, it has passed for me, it can be a source of information for those who encounter such a problem.
