Good Morning,

We have created our news page using the Articles element, pulling content from Joomla Articles. We are experiencing a couple of issues.

  1. All of the Joomla Articles have been created in the same way using SP Page Builder to format the layout, however only the first 3 articles are displaying the content on the live site, the rest just display the title.

  2. When using the articles feature alongside SP Page builder, how do we get the article content to populate the first few lines of the article onto the grid page in place of the '...' like it does when you don't format the articles with SP Page Builder?

  3. On the articles that are displaying properly, is there a way to hide the additional title and stats at the top of the page so that the title 'Latest News' with the cloud background is displayed at the top of the page, full width, as it does in design view?

Hi there!

Thanks for your query.

Intro text and read more should set in the Joomla editor, then go to the SP Page Builder editor and save. It will give you intro text with read more inspite of you are beautifying the articles details page with the SPPB editor.

Hi Rashida,

Thank you for your help. The video you attached answered my third question.

How do I add the intro text in Joomla Editor without it overriding the SP Page builder layout? When I added the intro text block to the article text field in Joomla editor the live site has resorted back to displaying the standard joomla article layout rather than what I have set in SP Page Builder, even though the SP Page Builder page is still there when you go into that editor view.
