Hello I use Helix Ultimate with bootstrap 5 and would like to know if it ships with version 5 or version 5.2 as they are different for the margins notations Also can I change the colors of Bootstrap building by adding my own maps.scss in your scss folder ? Will it also change the primary template colors which defautl to blue ? and if not where are the colors located in the scss files ? Thanks for helping Jean

Hello Jean Machuron

Helix Ultimate is shipped with Bootstrap 5.1.3 version. Please do not change default css or scss file. You can add Custom SCSS in a custom.scss file. In this way, your scss will be appplied. Please follow this documentation to know more.

Best regards

If I may....

next Helix Ultimate update that should be very soon, will get Bootstrap v5.2.2.

But in general, yes, we uses BT 5.x

Better do NOT touch template or Bootstrap core files and use custom.css or custom.scss file for all changes & overrides! Read Helix documenation for details.

About 1st, maybe in the future.

About 2nd, in theory you can use Pro, but you have to disable default "Free" one from Template Options, and add embed code from FontAwesome to load Pro. But sorry, we cannot help more in such a customization.

You could even include option 1 in the next version as bootstrap 5.2 uses a lot variables :-)

for option 2 a simple setting to replace free by pro in the template would be enough That´s what we do but when developing it´s always rebuilt to "free"
