Helix Heading Colour Settings Override PageBuilder Heading Addon Colour

Hi,

We have noticed that if you set a colour for the headings in the font configuration of Helix Ultimate 2, this overrides any colours set in the Heading addon of PageBuilder Pro (v3 latest).

So, we can't change the Heading addon colour without using some CSS in the styling setting of the Heading addon to make the colour !important which is not ideal and not very friendly for any of my clients who update their own website.

This seems the wrong behaviour to me - is it intentional, or is it a bug that can be fixed in the next release of either Helix or PageBuilder?

Thanks for any support.

Hi.

Helix is not always used with SP Page Builder. Therefore, it has its own settings. CSS code of these settings is placed in <head><style>...</style></head> , that is the highest priority. Therefore, just do not use the color settings in Helix when using SPPB.

If you need to control the color of the headings for the entire site, just add it to custom.css file (not Custom CSS template field) instead of using Helix settings. Thus, you will get static colors that are never again or very rarely edited and lower their priority

Thanks, I guess that makes sense, it's just a bit confusing for users that use both :)
