From my tests this happens with the Image carousel addon...

As soon as I manipulate the Image Caroussel addon, the SpPagebuilder editor becomes very very slow, does not take into account all the modifications and the RAM increases considerably (several GB!).

I tried on several browsers I have the same problem. I tried with several versions of PHP (7.x and 8.x) it's the same

The addon has not been override. I work on the Helix 2.0.11 base template and the Helix 2.0.11 framework Joomla 4.2.5 and PHP 8.1.12.

What do you think ?
