Unei Quickstart

Good Morning,

Hope you are all doing well. Just wanted to report a possible issue with the Unei quickstart file. Once it finishes installing, clicking the "remove installation folder" does nothing. It requires an SSH login and manual delete of the installation folder. Not a big deal, but just wanted to mention it.

On another note, thank you for the handy placeholder sizes, that is very helpful. One thing I am not sure i understand is why these placeholder numbers read differently for sizes that should be the same? For example, the four quicklink boxes underneith the main graphic on the homepage all show different numbers for the sizes, and you cannot read some of them as the numbers are cut off. If i scroll down and preview other items that should also be exactly the same, they have different placeholder sizing numbers as well. Now i am not sure what size they are suppose to be.

Hi there!

Thanks for letting us know about the issue!

Actually, the demo images subject to copyright issues are removed from the quickstart to avoid unwanted situation, so they left the paceholder mark instead.

However, you can upload your own images there with good resolution and it will be scaled and fit within it as per my knowledge.

Please try to upload some and if you face any difficulties then let me know about it.

Best Regards

Hello, thank you for the quick response. Yes, i realize that the demo images are removed, no worries there. :) But having the sizes for the respective images shown is helpful, which is why i was elated to see them there. BUT, it seems that there is an issue with how the numbers are generated or something like that as they dont show consistent proper numbers for images that should be the same size. Maybe this is due to the fact that the images that were used in the demo were of random size perchance?

Knowing the proper size would be helpful with pageload speed rather than uploading a somewhat larger sized image and letting SP scale it down.
