Urgent Problem! - After The Update From Last Version 3.x (Joomla & SPPB) To 4.X The Pages Can No Longer Be Edited

After I did the updates, all pages on the website are displayed correctly.

A list of all existing sites is also displayed, but when I want to edit the pages, I do not see any content that I can edit.

The preview works - just no editing.

The update to 4.0.6 seems to cause more problems than it solves!

Please help me quickly!

What are the steps for a downgrade?

As I said before, Only recover site from full backup will give "old" trusted version. Files and database.

Hi Josef,

That's why sometimes it's better to make a step back, and wait for more fixed/improved version of software/extension.

I installed you SPPB 3.8.9 Pro - please keep it by now, and do not rush with upgrade.

In case of weird problems after, I suggest to recover site from backup that you have or your hosting company have.

Extra tip!

In cPanel in PHP settings change value for "memory_limit" from 128M to 256M. It should help editing pages with lots of rows, addons inside.

Thank you Paul for the quick help.

I have set the "memory_limit" to 512M. Now I can edit the site in the classic way, BUT Frontend Edit does not work.

Do you have any ideas?

I just tried to change something on the site, but we didn't save it.

Feel free to change something on the site yourself and then start the preview.

But can you edit using back-end editor?

Have you cleaned browser cache?

Preview is not working - also in Firefox Developer Browser

Frontend Editor Works

I can neither see the site with the ID 52 in the preview nor display it when I include it via a menu item.

:-(
