Hi,

I have created a menu using Joomla menu section. With some of the menu entries I have a dropdown menu , e.g. "Reisen". See www.bergundblume.de

When I click on the top level menu entry "Reisen" it reroutes to the main page which is not a real problem at all. Nevertheless I am wondering if it is possible to change the behaviour so that no rerouting happens when clicking "Reisen". The idea is that the user selects an entry of the dropdown menu, the top level should not do anything besides opening the dropdown menu.

Hi.

But much better is to use "URL" (external link) menu type and use "#" as link for it.

Separator doesn't work in mobile menu and "URL" does. I use this method since first Helix and works every single time.

Thanks for your query!

You can use menu heading or separator as the menu item type. It will not redirect to home page then.

please let me know the result.

Hi Folks,

thanks for the proposals.

The separator and the the heading does not work, it always redirects to the homepage in my case. The URL with the # does work :-) and I will use this proposal.
