I want to be able to view the Mega Menu for Browse Course you have with your Edulif template on a mobile device. ( SP LMS )

Is there a way to turn OFF the Browse Course menu item on a Mobile device?

Is there a way to create a menu item for Browse Course for only a Mobile Device?

The Desktop version of the Browse course is here: https://imgur.com/bDHaTu1

What it looks like in the Mobile Device is this: https://imgur.com/CangH98

The Website I am using the template on is: https://www.stephouse.org / I have changed the menu title to Events & Gatherings.

Hi,

Thanks for your query. If you use any module in your mega-menu then they won't be shown in offcanvas menu. Please check the screenshots where i've marked the modules and they are missing in offcanvas

http://prntscr.com/mw5796

http://prntscr.com/mw57d1

If you want not to show the specific menu item in offcanvas then you can create a new menu with all the menu items except that one and then assing that menu within the offcanvas module that is published in the offcanvas position.

Even you can show any module by publishing it in the offcanvas position, but not through the megamenu feature.

Hope this helps!

Best Regards

It is a little hard to understand.

I want to show the items in the "Browse Course" Mega Menu on a mobile device just like your picture: http://prntscr.com/mw57d1 But I cannot.

So can I need to create another menu item with that SP LMS Course Catagories module and the off canvas module for it to work in a mobile device? But do not use Mega Menu.

If I want to only view that menu item i create in the off canvas position and just have it viewable by a mobile device do I just put visible-phone in the Module Class Suffix?

Thanks,

John

I meant to say that the module you inserted in your megsmenu, if you go to Extensions>module and click on that module name and set the module position as offcanvas. Then the module will show up within your offcanvas.

Best Regards

Rashida! How are you? Yes, I did figure that out about adding the offcanvas module. I didn't like the way it looked on the Smartphone as both MegaMenu and Offcanvas displayed at the same time. How do I set it up so that MegaMenu only displays on the desktop and Offcanvas only displays on the Smartphone?

Hi,

I'm fine, thanks for asking:) How about you Pytel?

I have checked your site: https://www.stephouse.org/

Didn't find the issue...

However, you will find all related info there:

Hope this helps anyway!
