Can't Insert Module Addon

I'm unable to insert a Joomla Module Addon. When I try it just disappears. Occasionally I can get to the point where I can choose the module, but nothing ever shows on the page. The module does work as I can get it to show in the Content-Bottom position, but thats not where I need it to go.

Hi Matt,

we all have this same Module addon, and in 99,9% cases it works, I also use it on my private sites.

Sure, I will check. Becuase I'm curious why you have a problem with ... Slimer.

All I know is that it was working great on the last 27 sites I've created with SP Page Builder and Helix Ultimate, but just in the past week I have been unable to insert the module addon. No problem with others that I've noticed, Just today used the Text Block and Button addons, with no issues. It is just the Joomla Module addon. I've gotten around the issue with the LoadModuleID plugin, but still it would be nice for it to work again. On older sites where the module addons were used, they still work. It is just the process of adding a new one that has an issue.

Module addon works OK, also on your site. Here is VIDEO from my "investigation": (REMOVED)

My suggestion is ... for subpages uses Pages, not Articles ! Why? becuase 2x less resources has to be loaded, and SPPB editor works faster.

Yes, it's possible that some modules may not work inside SPPB becuase they use too much javascript, but we don't have magic fix (pill) for that. You can always publish extra module using content-top or content-bottom position - in that cases - then no conflict with editor.

extra Question: On all websites you have SPPB 4.0.7? or mixed SPPB 3.8.x as well?

But in general, in all cases that addon should work this same. Always test with Custom module with with Lorem ipsum... to be sure it's not a JS conflict etc.

That's all I can suggest by now.

They are a mix of 4.0.7, 4.0.6 and 3.8.x

I tried the simple text module and yes it seemed to insert fine. One of the ones I've had problems with, was the photo gallery module and all I can say is that it used to work. I'll just have to use the loadmodule plugin from now on. Thanks anyways.
