Article Addon does do Anything

Joomla 3.10.11, using your Helix 2.0.11. When I drag the "Articles" addon to a column nothing happens, its like I never dragged it over. Every other addon I have used so far works fine, inlcluding the Articles Scroller. Is there a way I can see a log of what has happened?

We discover what it was, it will be fixed in next update. And YES, we installed you fixed version of that addon code.

So you can use it in normal way as well.

I can see from a dev console I have this error when trying to use the Addon: Aricle

By now please use Articles addon from Layouts > Saved items > Addons

I put one there from my private site (exported-imported)

And I will try to find with our developer a reason why you cannot put in normal way.

Ok, so working for old articles, but the "Read More", when I create a Joomla Artice using the SP Page Builder integrated module, the link fails, the URLs are not correct when I hover over them.

Example is "New Website & Early Bird Info" Joomla Artice, which has a Read More on https://www.fragapalooza.com/index.php/fpnews of: https://www.fragapalooza.com/index.php/home/53-2023-fragapalooza/282-new-website-early-bird-info, which just seams to load the home page.

Compared, the working old Joomla articles URL on https://www.fragapalooza.com/index.php/fpnews Read More looks like: https://www.fragapalooza.com/index.php/news/279-thanks-for-2022

Also where do I find contect created when using the SP Page Builder in the Joomla articles directly? They don't show on the list of Pages when in the SP Page Builder dashboard. I only ask to clean up old ones I may have created but since deleted the Joomla Article for.

Just need to understand this first, and then can mark as fixed.

As I know, articles addons work in similar was as "Articles - Latest" module from Joomla, it doesn't create links, it just use what they are.

Make simple test:

  1. Create a new module "Articles - Latest" (Joomla core) - use this same category as yo used in Articles addon
  2. Then in Page use Module addon, and use that moldule
  3. Then preview page, and compare links (URL) generated by both of them.
