I'm making a standalone website just to explain to you. And I have the same problem there When I call the index.php/component/users/profile?layout=edit&Itemid=101 the user uses the upload button and that opens the file explorer and then he selects an image and nothing happens... For this Function i create a Field type Media

Have you changed the user? I can't log in using the credentials.
