How To Show Joomla Unauthorised Links

SP Page Builder 2 years ago

Hello I am failry new to SP Page Builder and wanted to know how a page created in SP Page Builder can show any article created in Joomla with Show Unauthorised Content set to Yes.

It doesn't seem to recognise this setting

For example I create a page using SPPB 3.x and use the Addon Articles

I pick which Category I want to show articles from. These articles have a bit of Intro text then a Read More in them from Joomla

If I pick Public Articles then they show really well of course

But I want to show Non-Public Articles. i want to show Members articles and use the read more text to encourage people to become members and read all the article

This works great in plain joomla pages and looks perfect in the front-end editor of SPPB BUT....

When I go to the front end of my site, It won't show any other ACL articles without logging in.

I have set all my articles to show intro text, show unauthorised content in the global configuration but when I use SPPB and insert the Article addon - it will only show the public articles in that category and not the members ACL articles

Please show me how to get this to work.

Can I bump this request please? and also the other thread in this forum about the same thing? It is really important to me to get this feature working as a new SPPB user. I don't want to lost this feature from my existing site before I move things to SPPB

Hello Bob

I have tested this. It seems to be working with latest SP Page Builder 4.0.7. Please share your administrator access here to check the issue. Use the Hidden Content box to share the credentials. Make sure that you have a full site backup with you before sharing.

Best regards

Thanks Ofi Sorry I missed your update. I don't want to use SP Page Builder 4.0.7 just yet sorry after reading all the forum posts on it. Is this possible to do using SP Page Builder 3.x?
