Hello, I plan to upgrade joomla to version 4, but before that I decided to upgrade SPB to version 4. The engine has been updated, but now a white screen appears when editing an existing page https://prnt.sc/RNS0p22M1YYl .

The site itself is on a test subdomain http://new.besedka-dacha.ru . In the future, I want to do everything on the combat site. http://besedka-dacha.ru , therefore, I ask for prompt help with an indication of what to correct. So as not to do the work twice.

Hi Alex. You can update to J4 but do not rush to update to SPPB 4. SPPB 3 works great in J4.

Hi Paul.

It has long been obvious that SPPB 4 has problems. I don’t understand why the team still does not hang an announcement that users are not updated to SPPB 4. You get more negativity and overload of the support service because of this. In my opinion, it would be better to make an unpopular decision once than to receive problems accumulating like a snowball.

If something is wrong with the car, manufacturers call back the whole batch. Any company has difficulties and errors. There is nothing wrong with that. The one who does nothing is not mistaken. But terrible in the loss of user trust. (IMO)

Guys, I want to update the site to version 4 of the engine because this is a new project that I created and version 3 will not be supported since August. Then I'm afraid there will be problems with the transition to the 4th version of jumla, since it will go far ahead and it will not be possible to update without bugs. What do you think? How long to sit

Joomla 3 can be upgraded to Joomla 4 even with SPPB 3.8, we informed in documenation that you have to ignore warnings from Joomla tester.

Wait 2 months - when SPPB 4.0.x will get back-end editor and more things will be fixed/improved.

Till August can be .... fallout, so don't think about that now, life today.

I work in yandex browser. I tried to update it to the latest version. but it's still a white screen so it didn't help. I will then roll back to version SPPB 3.8.9 and try to update the engine. Can you guys help me in this chat thread? Because I have problems there

Joomla 3>4 upgrade is on your side only, we are not free Joomla support.

But all warnings about SPPB plugins in Joomla Update Tester just ignore.
