Custom 404 Page

I am having a problem with creating a custom 404 page.
I followed these instructions exactly: https://www.joomshaper.com/blog/create-a-custom-joomla-404-page-with-sp-page-builder
The page is created but 404 errors are redirecting to the home page . I have cleared all caches but it is still not working.
Please could someone take a look and see if they can spot what I am doing wrong?

Accepted Answeryes, somehow j-businessdirectory component manage all errors.
Inside your template error.php file at the top I put redirect code, it's much easier than we used on blog post.
And works on all my private sites (Joomla 3.10)

using tips from the blog post is not the best method. Why? Becuase you have to edit template core file.
Hopefully, I have better solution for you.

Accepted AnswerI noticed one thing, everytime when I put wrong URL I am redirected to jbusinessdirectory component view anyway. Did you set it somehow?
If you would have Joomla 4.x new Helix Ultimate 2.0.12 offer built-in feature for 404, but it doesn't work in old Joomla 3.10. For Joomla 3.10 there is small php hack :)

Accepted AnswerNo I didn't set it but I am not sure whether it is redirecting to that component specifically or just the home page. What you are seeing is the home page.
I plan to upgrade to Joomla 4 soon. I just need to get this small development site finished and make it live and then I am going to start migrating everything to Joomla 4.
Is there anyway to make this work whilst still on Joomla 3?
