Could you clarify this SEO question? Joomla menu links provide a tab for meta page description. Should I use this along with the SP Page Builder page meta data? Or should I use one or the other? If I use the Joomla meta page discription will it overwrite or replace the SP page builder meta data or vice versa? Thanks.

Hi Jeffrey ,

In general SEO is advanced process with many tips and tricks, but I will try in big short....

  1. Yes, you can add Meta Description using Menu item field if you think that this way would be easier to manage them.
  2. If we talk about SPPB - Meta Description from Menu item settings has a higher priority and overwrites the description from the component (Page > SEO section).

Notice! In Page you have more SEO fields - not only Meta Description. And more will come in SPPB 4.0.8 update.
