At this time all sub- menu items are set to show which i do not want. I want the parent items to display and then upon hover of the parent items the sub-menu items expand out to the right.

I have used the first pre-defined header and applied some Custom CSS. Also, I have removed the module you have used for the menu item as alternative. This is it.
