Hello, I've been a longtime Joomla user. In the past two to three years, I've noticed that clients primarily search Wordpress CMS. Use of Wordpress is widespread. What are your opinions of Wordpress? Is it superior, more reliable, or more SEO-friendly? I notice projects Themeum connected to Wordpress from Joomshaper.

WordPress is good source of money - especially when I clean them from malware, spam.

Clients needs website who sell their products or services, it doesn't matter what engine you have inside car if you earn money from it and you win the race - I always repeat people who follow WP trend.

unquestionable advantage is the large number of plugins, themes ... but this is just a statistic, because quantity does not translate into quality.

In general it's topic for whole book, 100+ pages.

I work with Joomla now for about 10 years (starting at version 1.5). 2 times I tried to create a website in WP, because as you say, it's widespread. Most of the websites use WP I guess. But for some reason, if you are so hooked to Joomla, it's very difficult to switch to another CMS. Another thing that I noticed, is that for Joomla more extensions are free. WP is mostly paid. (as far as I can remember and experienced)

Unfortunately, but books about WordPress are already selling poorly.

Hopefully, I have written only one.

WordPress is open source, and therefore extremely vulnerable to security risks. Unless you have a dedicated digital security team, you're better off staying with the closed-source Joomla.

@Melissa, fully agree with you.

Many people boast that government websites were made also on WP, but the truth is that their code has been changed so much, secured to a higher level.

Sometimes, of course, the weakest element are plugins and carelessness of webmasters, but this applies to every CMS. How many times I see the "admin" login here, I've stopped counting. But every time I gives someone a virtual kick in the ass.
