If I may....

it looks that you made mistake , for example, in copyright field (Template Options > Basic > Copyright)

please remove form that field all php code(!) keep only text and basic html !

OR

maybe you used

somewhere in module / custom code field ? If yes, disable/remove it.

Thank you Paul! It was indeed the custom code field that appeared like that. Very weird, because I can't remember having done that, since I don't know much about code fields or php. I only changed the Copyright field in January, which appears just normal at the bottom of the website. Anyway, the problem is solved. So thank you very much!
