Menu Links Break When Dropdown Added And Page Errors

Template 1 year ago

Hi, First I add drop down links to the main menu and that pushes the entire menu down and out of place. Here is a link; https://selfstorageofreading.com/beta1b/ All main menu links should be in the same line with the logo type.

Second I add some images to a page called rental-choices and get this error: https://selfstorageofreading.com/beta1b/index.php/rental-choices

Help, Thanks, Bob

Hopefully flood of questions =/= flood of water ;p

But yes, we had real rain as well.

Thanks for understanding, have a nice day.

Hi Paul,

Site broke again, same thing. Add a new page and the menu links drop down below it's place. Go here and look at rental choices and packing material. New added pages breaks the navigation menu https://selfstorageofreading.com/beta1b/index.php

All access info hidden

Thanks, Bob

Hi Paul, It's a bit hard to see because of the page colors. See screen shot https://selfstorageofreading.com/BrokenMenu.jpg

This happens when you add a new page

Thanks, Bob

Simple math, there is no place to display (fit) menu row, easy to fix - use below custom CSS

.sp-megamenu-parent > li > a, .sp-megamenu-parent > li > span {
  padding: 0 30px;}
Default value is 40px which is too big for you

To be honest also [=] displayed on Desktop view take precious space etc.

sorry for "stupid" offtopic question:

On your STORAGE - do you have also sort of "STORAGE WARS" - I loved that show TV few years back.

Hi Paul,

The css fixed worked, big thanks.

Not stupid, no question is stupid<G>

They run auctions on unpaid storage units. At the time of auction it looks close to the tv show. Like a big grab bag of junk. Lots of valuabe stuff is found. Lots of garbage found.

It is interesting. Could strike it big for a few bucks, maybe.

Not my storage business, I am building many sites for their locations.

Thanks again, Bob

As we can say "one man's trash is another man's treasure" ;)

Thanks. I am glad that it helped. Now I go walking with dogs, keeping rule "Leave no trace".
