Problems With The Click Slider / Carousel

Hello,

we are using the Flex template from Aplikko. We create our pages with SP Builder. On the demo page of the Flex Template is a Slick Slider, which we would like to use on our page as well (see screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/GUL5Nbi).

The slick slider can be selected in SP Builder. Using the configuration window we add content in the form of images. However, after saving, the images are no longer displayed. When we return to the configuration window, we find that not a single image has been saved.

Where is the problem?

Best Regards

Andreas

Hi. Slick Slider is not included in the supply of Sp Page Builder as far as I know. But third -party developers can create their own addons for SP Page Builder. The developer of the Flex template does this. Therefore, you should contact him.

And if the SPPB 3 is included in the Flex delivery kit, you should not be updated to SPPB 4. Third -party addons may not be compatible with this. And in general, SPPB 4 is still not ready for production sites. So far, it’s better not to use it.

Good morning from Germany,

thank you very much for the hint. I have now first downgraded to version 3.8.9. Now it works already better!

It's a pity that Aplikko-Team doesn't point out this problem and advises not to use the latest version of the page builder.

With kind regards

Hi Andreas,

To be honest, in you would check our forum for phrase "Flex" you would know how many problems comes from that template, a long list.

Yes, their template was designed only for SPPB 3.x - so using SPPB 4.0x is not a good idea yet.
