Ensure Template FP Header Tabs Broken

Hello,
It would appear that there may possibly be an issue with the tabs on the front page of the Ensure template. If you were to look at the preview template on the joomshaper demo site, directly under the header image is three tabs colored orange, cyan and blue-ish.
When creating a link via the text in the tabs, it does nothing. As in, it doesnt even show that it is a link. This possible problem can also be seen in the demo template, link below.

Accepted AnswerI am trying to add a link to a page from the three quick link tabs on the front page. When i add a link from the backend, it does nothing. It does not show as a link on the front, it is not clickable, nothing. I suppose I could be having a 'silly' moment, but, maybe not. These same links also seem to do nothing on the template demo page. Please see this image below. Thank you very much for your help.
UPDATE: I believe this is the actual issue. The soft lettering is a layer above the tab text and blocks the link state/hover state that has been added.
