Hello,

I have been having an issue since the latest updates of Joomla and the Edulif template. The blocks (under the orange "Synthèse..." button) are shifted to the left instead of being centered on the page (please see attached screenshots).

Thank you for your help.

Best regards, Michel

What you send me looks like a screenshot taken from a mobile…!

Did you even go to the website and look at the screenshots attached in my message?

I have checked that by your URL and yes I have seen your screenshot. Which browser are you using?

This may work for you, but not for me! I have been experiencing this issue since the updates!

Let me explain my problem again…

When I scroll down on the homepage, I want to disable the effect that moves the blocks from the left to the center of the page (see screenshot).

Use this custom CSS

.sp-page-builder .page-content{
        padding-left: 50px !important;
      padding-right: 50px !important;
}

Path towards custom CSS: Extensions>Templates>Styles> Click on your current default template name then choose Template Options. Then find custom CSS within the custom code.

This code only moves the blocks a few pixels... See for yourself!

This doesn't solve my problem.

Any other ideas?

Not at all!

Unless of course you are scrolling down the page...

Do you still see the effect of the blocks shifting from left to right when you scroll down on the homepage?

Well, BEFORE the updates, the BLOCKS DID NOT MOVE and were all centered on the page even when scrolling with the mouse.

I have another mockup website address (not in production) that I am attaching for you to compare the difference between an outdated website (Joomla + extensions) and the one online.

No way…

Did you not read my message from 2 days ago correctly?

The website I indicated to you (mockup website) is a site that is working with the template and Joomla version non-updated. Following the updates on the live website, the blocks move from left to center when scrolling.

I don't want the blocks to move!

Can you help me or maybe one of your colleagues?

I think you have used any animation on that. Try this CSS

div#sppb-addon-1631197632907 {
    transition: unset !important;
}

Path towards custom CSS: Extensions>Templates>Styles> Click on your current default template name then choose Template Options. Then find custom CSS within the custom code.

Its better you should keep a backup and remake this portion.

Could you ask one of your colleagues to help me?

Thank you.

Try this CSS please

.sp-page-builder .page-content #section-id-1631197632905{
        padding-left: 150px !important;
}

And did you use any animation on that row? If yes please disable that.

You should know your templates (in this case, EDULIF) and above all test your own tutorials before conveying what you imagine to be the solution because it still doesn't work…

I asked you to find a solution to cancel the movement of the blocks, and you're sending me a CSS that moves the blocks on the page but differently?

Now, the blocks no longer move from left to center of the page but from center to right of the page.

Wouldn't the solution be found in a Javascript file rather than persisting on the CSS code?

Should I open a new post to be put in touch with someone else?

I pay for an annual technical support supposed to provide solutions to problems, yet we've been going around in circles for a week...

Thank you for your response.

Sorry for this inconvenience. Could you please give me a summary and screenvideo of that issue? So that I can forward it to our DEV team and solve this issue ASAP.

Thank you soooooo much for your message! You are the only person in the technical team to respond to me!

I have been having an issue since the latest updates of Joomla and the Edulif template. The blocks (under the orange "Synthèse..." button) are shifted to the left instead of being centered on the page.

During scrolling, the blocks move from the left to the center of the page.

Originally, the blocks appeared centered on the homepage and DID NOT MOVE during scrolling with the mouse. That's exactly what I want to get back: no more movement of the blocks on the page, just centered!

I hope my explanation is clear enough.

Thank you for your help.

I gave access to the site on the post below a week ago and I still have no response to this day... [https://www.joomshaper.com/forum/question/24260]

Thanks a lot.

PS. I do not understand the communication problems with the technical support currently; It's a disaster!

Please give a fixed height on your addons. And then try again.

Mehtaz,

You are responsive and willing to help, but your attempts to assist me are definitely in vain... Indeed, Mehtaz has finally decided to respond to me (it was about time!) and has found the solution!

The image layout addons has interaction tured on in settings. I'm turning them off one by one now.

Take note of it in case another customer needs it.

But thank you anyway for always responding to my messages :-)

PS. Just know that this function (interaction settings) does not appear in the backend of the website. It is ONLY available from the frontend!
